Was it just me or is it very uncomfortable when the girl who picked me up today at tri delta asked what my parents did for a living? I'm scared to ask my gamma chi but multiple girls in my group said the same thing. I'm from out of state but it seemed very petty of them to ask that..... other houses didn't ask anybody in my group questions like that..

If you are on they are seriously looking at you, they already know what your parents do.... And that's not going to determine if they want you or not....

And do you seriously believe you can buy you why into any sorority???

I have such a hard time believing this. I was talking to some friends and all of our houses (including DDD) blatantly told us not to ask this question and I really have a hard time believing this question was asked by multiple girls. I think the ONLY reason it comes up is if you bring it up like saying you want to do what your dad does or something.

Y'all.. there are SO many classless girls in all of our sororities, but there are so many stellar girls that truly care about the people they're talking to that outweigh the bad apples. Look for them and focus on them. The crappy people aren't usually very involved anyways

DDD and XO are like high school. Why Jackson or Memphis girls think they're all that when they can only get a bid from a house where they know a lot of girls, I don't get. I'd rather be in a middle tier house and know they wanted me for who I am and not my zip code.

DDD is known for this. They have some of the highest dues on campus and are known as a top DDD fundraiser in the nation. Honestly all they care about is having money put into their house from members parents. It's really pathetic actually.
