Is it just me or is recruitment 2017 is not as brutal and hard as it was last year. I have been seeing so much more positive outlooks and cuts not nearly as bad as they were last year.

People know what to expect this year - last year was a shock. So the cuts are likely as deep still but knowing how tough it can be means that PNMs could emotionally brace themselves for what could be hard. So they're also likely more grateful for what they're getting.

I agree with Reb, I think everyone now knows how variable quota affects the numbers. The cuts are still deep and can be painful - but knowing in advance it's a possibility makes it easier to move on to your next favorite choices.

Plus this site is less toxic (at least for today). I don't think we'll ever run off the crazy moms but they're getting easier to identify.
