3 houses left
by: WorriedI had 3 houses left after cuts today. I am worried because everyone has talked so negatively about the ones I have left. I'm scared that I will be talked about negatively if I get one of the houses. But honestly the girls at each house were nice to me. Any advice?

Please don't let other's superficial opinions dictate how YOU feel about the sororities that want you back! With houses of 400 girls there are a myriad of different types of girls, no sorority has a monopoly on class, intelligence, or money. Your self worth is not based on Ole Miss Greek system. You should open your heart and mind to finding sisterhood at the 3 houses that want you back. Good luck to you, and (((hugs)))

I'm a PNM also, so take that for what it's worth. One thing that was drilled into my head before this started was that we shouldn't let other people's opinions affect our rush. Sure everyone has an opinion on what the top house is, but all the houses here are good, and everyone I know in a sorority here has friends in all of the other sororities.
If you visit the houses and click with the girls, why does it matter what other people think? Outside of Recruitment, it doesn't seem to matter.
Good luck!!!!

As a senior I have friends in every house here! Some of the ones who love their house the most are in a so called bottom house and some friends in a top house really aren't that connected with their sorority. Bottom line is EVERY house here is filled with all kinds of girls and if the houses you have left are nice to you sounds like they really want you!

Ole Miss has the best sorority system in the nation (don't even argue with me on that statement Bama people) and every sorority on this campus is just getting better and better. There are no bad sororities, all of them are successful and Nationally recognized. You want to be a part of Greek Life! Good luck for the rest of the week and have fun!
