what happens if i skip a house
by: worried freshmanmy gamma chi tells us to "maximize our options" but i really want to skip a house tomorrow. i watched their video tonight and it made me cringe..... i cant imagine sitting in that house for more than a second. plus their house is extremely in an inconvenient place (furthest away from campus) that tbh i don't feel like running too. im scared to ask my gamma chi because she is a "wanna be hipster" and i think she is a part of that house. i hear if u skip a house u get dropped from everything idk what to do

I am DYING at the attitude of some of you! The Chi O house is too far to run to? You have time to walk this week. I hope you are not saying it is too far to run to on bid day? Every house is important. If you skip, that is rude. Unless you have been cut you go to every house you were invited to. No show is never good in any life situation
If you are dead set on wanting to pledge one sorority and only one, then that is called "suicide". Not everyone is going to get the house they want, and you have not even met them
Not giving them a chance is exactly the same as them cutting you before meeting you. Show some class and excitement. Do not cut yourself out. Worst mistake ever.

DO NOT SKIP A HOUSE. For one thing, this is your chance to see every house. Take that opportunity. Personally I think you're short a few IQ points for asking such a stupid questions. How in the world can you judge a sorority by a video - and too far to run to? You really should reconsider even going through recruitment at all.

People spend hours on here judging a stats by there videos, so do not act surprised. Recruitment starts in a few minutes. Don't be brats, the houses have all worked really hard, so give them all a chance...or don't bother!
