What is with the surge of Kappa posts? You really have nothing to prove at all...You are not top with Mississippi girls, and you are a house out of state girls strive to be in. You have a decent house and a great sisterhood, but are known to be just a little dirty and love to party.
Own your reputation, because that is exactly the kind of house that there are plenty of PNM's want to be apart of.
This last minute self ranking reeks of sheer desperation and is really unattractive...its very "alpha phi" of you.

I've been surprised by Kappa also. You expect this from DG or Alpha Phi and lately ADPi, but not Kappa. They have had a rough past few years but they are still a great sorority and there's no need to constantly tried to self rank on Greakrank - which is the dumbest place ever to try to self rank. Of course, they could just use the standard approach to self ranking - do it, deny it and claim a conspiracy theory. Hopefully there aren't too many PNMS that are so easily influenced by Greekrank. If they are that easily influenced would you really want them in your sorority?

Why do you care so much what Kappa says about themselves? Aren't they supposed to think they are the best sorority on campus? LOL Same with any other house. Maybe the problem is with you and you should get over your "know your place" attitude.
I'd much rather go to a house that is proud of themselves and considers themselves the best of campus for all the reasons that makes them THEM than go to a house that says "we're great, but we're not THAT great because Alpha Beta Gamma is better than us because my memaw told me so."
Get over yourselves, think for yourself, and stop being a Tier sheep. And no, I am not a kappa. Just think these posts are completely stupid.

Oh, sweetheart. You sound incredibly insecure. Perhaps you're threatened that the mississippi top tier isn't as desirable as you think it is? Or perhaps you wanted to be a kappa but got cut? Or maybe you don't really enjoy greek life all that much because you listened to tent talk instead of going to a place that was right for you? The fact is that the people who scream about being better or yelling at a house for thinking that they are the best on campus, normally stems from a place of insecurity.
And what do you mean this website is GreekRank? I thought it was Pinterest. Silly silly me.

Kappa may be pulling a DG/Alpha Phi, but come on... We sure wouldn't want any sorority to rank themselves higher than where Huh?, her friends and their mamas tell them they must be.

I don't know why people rank themselves anyway. It's the dumbest thing ever. I personally do think my sorority is the greatest on campus, and I don't need this idiotic site to tell me it's not. In fact, everyone should feel that way about their sorority. Seriously, have you actually look at all the sororities - they all look the same, just different colors and letters.

While the twits who have all responded seem to be insecure idiots, I do agree with the OP that Kappa has flooded this site conveniently right before rush.
Idk why DG is their target though. They are very different girls that these houses go for. Kappa does not need all the "extra" and ultra competitive over the top DG girls.
You have your own niche and it has nothing to do with tiers, doesn't make you better or worse just different.
DG is a great house and does not need to be torn down just because your trying to make yourself look better... be a bit classier than that a Kappa.

I'm not totally convinced it's Kappa. ADPi seems to be creeping up the ranks in these post and ADPi went a toxic posting rant back in the summer. Not sure what's going on, but it's just typical GreekRank stuff. Last year it was DG and Alpha Phi.

dG at least consistently ranks themselves as 4th which is right although a certain group of girls might desire them more ( like maybe the cheerleaders). It's kappa trying to creep into top where they have never been considered. It's alpha phi all over again
Don't get me wrong DG is extra... but Kappa is laughable if they think they are more desired

Unless you are a freshman or sophomore no one gives a rip about tiers. Maturity has a lot to do with this. Also, I have never heard being asked what sorority you belonged to being a determination for obtaining a job. Unless you're looking for a MRS. Degree.

Well we are on a site called Greek "RANK" after all. If you don't want to know ranks stay off the site. My friends and I just think Kappa is putting themselves way higher in the rank than the reality of this school.
Yes it's great if they perceive themselves as higher just as it's okay for us to tell them their perception is way off!!!!
I personally also agree with posters who put chi o lower, who put dg on a rank by themselves and those who move alpha phi above Theta..... it's my perception and the girls I hang out with and that's how we choose to see the rank.... nothing to do with pride in your own house, geez!
