DDD=KD (these 2 are top here, its just how it is right now)
ChiO (very good traditional choice, Jackson and more laid back than ^^
DG (the new house is gonna impress the cheerleader competitive type)
Kappa (good choice for the hip party girls who like to socialize)
Phi Mu=Pi-Phi (Good option for out of state/less connections)
Alpha Phi (newest house- pretty girls- starting off well here)
AOPi (sweet great group of diverse fantastic girls)
ADPi=Theta (awesome girls- more impressive each year!)

Dear PNMs, ignore these ridiculous rankings. Usually it's the same two sororities posting the same thing over and over (and then agreeing with themselves) trying to make themselves look better. You will have about a month to meet girls from every sorority (and please do try to meet girls from every sorority). You will go through recruitment and see each sorority at their best. Use this opportunity to see for YOUSELF that every sorority has smart, pretty, and girls with different personalities. If you have a focused career path you are going to have friends in every sorority. High school is over, learn to think as an adult and enjoy the diversity of college.

Okay lets be honest. The rankings look like this.

KD - DDD - Chi O
DG - Kappa
Phi MU
Pi Phi - AOPi
Alpha Phi
ADPi - Theta

The three top tiers have been and possibly always will be top tiers. They are In-state/Memphis sororitys. Connections are everything with these three. Alumni are heavily involved.

DG and Kappa tend to go after the same in state girls the top three are going after and take their cuts. DG is fighting to climb to top tier. Kappa has a strong Texas niche also.

Phi Mu - definitely has a type. Girly in an extra (good) way. In-state and southern OOS students.

Pi Phi and AOPi - both are strong diverse OOS favorites. Probably would be considered the top OOS/OOR sororitys. Appeal to the smart girl next door types.

Alpha Phi - blazing a path since their charter. Lots of energy. Making the other sororitys nervous. Tend to be OOS Northern girls.

ADPi - good OOS/OOR sorority. Still trying to finding their place on campus when there's no need to search for one. Seem obsessed with the tiers.

Theta - the only reason they are the bottom is because tradition says that's where they are. Great sorority with strong sisterhood. A solid OOS/OOR sorority.
