SShhhhh, don't confuse the Mississippians. They don't realize there's anything outside of the Mississippi border. That's why they have to stay on Sorority Row, so they aren't exposed to 'foreigners'.

How does anyone know where they want to pledge if they haven't even gone through recruitment yet? Spring parties don't really give up a true picture of sorority life on campus. If you are a legacy or best friends from high school with girls from some of the Mississippi sororities you probably think you really want a certain one. However you don't really know that sorority yet. Most of these 'polls' are started by actives and are answered by actives voting for their sorority. So the only thing it tells you is which sorority has the most people on Grrekrank.

I am going through recruitmnt and I would love to be in any of these and I just picked the one where I already knew a lot of girls. I think this is partly legitimate. The only think i wish was that chi o was on sorority row....because I am definitely about wanting to be on the row instead of the drive!

Okay, that doesn't even make sense. The main sororities on this site are DG, KD, ADPi and Alpha Phi. That's easy to spot. The least likely to be on here is Chi-O, AOPi and Theta. Tri-Delt has some posters but they are all moms or alumni. The rest have varying degrees of visitors.

Girls are clicking on sororities they aren't members of to drive numbers up so people bad mouth the groups with high percentages. Makes sense on a site this petty.

All these conspiracy theories. I seriously doubt sorority members are clicking other sororities as their number one choice. These polls don't mean a thing. Just a bunch of Actives who think they are influencing PNMs. Hopefully most PNMs will have enough sense to see through the BS, and the ones who don't will find these Actives and live happily ever after.
