Does anyone know where you can find updated information for the Sororities GPA averages? There is information on the Panhellenic website for 2015, but nothing since then.

There is updated information through Fall 2016. The GPAs are: KD 3.38; Chi-O 3.33; Tri-Delt 3.28; Phi Mu 3.21; DG 3.18; AOPi 3.14; Pi Phi 3.13; Kappa 3.13; ADPi 2.93; Theta 2.86; and Alpha Phi 2.73. This is just the Fall 2016 semester averages.

The information also includes the number of members each sorority had at the end of Fall 2016.

In order of number: KD 468; Tri-Delt 456; Chi O 453; DG 447; Pi Phi 445; Kappa 439; Phi Mu 426; AOPi 424; ADPi 363; Alpha Phi 304; and Theta 288.

Seeing the numbers of chapter members really makes it set in how much we needed/still need variable quota...while it is frustrating and tough, KD having 180 (like 1 1/2 pledge classes worth) more members than Theta is a problem. We want all our sororities to be on an even playing field, and evening the numbers is the beginning of that.

It would be interesting to see what the updated information looks like after the Variable Quote for the 2016-2017 year.

Need some other sororities to move in...Having 400 members is pathetic

Agree, that's not great. I think 250 would be ideal.

That means at least 2 more chapters starting in the next couple of years to even remotely help with this although with more girls going through recruitment every year, it's a bit like holding back the ocean.

We need to get Zeta back and get Alpha Chi too or maybe DZ, Sigma Kappa, Gamma Phi Beta, or someone else.. we really need some more houses!

We need to change the way we treat newer houses on campus before any new sororities would want to colonize here.

That's probably not really going to change... ADPi and Alpha Phi both seem to be doing pretty well for being 2-4 years old. While yes people definitely need to treat them, and Theta, better, that doesn't change the fact that we desperately need more new houses. I feel like bringing more new houses would hopefully make it better for these other houses because girls would be more spread out and there would be more options rather than shoving a bunch of people into already overcrowded houses.

The Sororities are getting too big. With groups this big it's harder to connect to your Sisters, the best that can happen is little cliques will form within the Sorority. Plus because leadership opportunities are limited, only a small percentage of members can participate in leadership roles. It would wonderful to see at least 2 new sororities chartered here in the next few years. I don't know where the school would put them, but they are needed.
