Now. You need to be in contact with your local Panhellenic and asking people to write recs for you and making sure you have enough to try and cover two recs per house and letters of support. Then make sure you have your packets ready to go by email or hard copy depending on what each group wants.. it can take a month or two sometimes for your writers to get the info and sending it in. You really want everything to have been sent in by July at the latest and earlier if you can

There are lots of girls who will have everything turned in by May 1st so that all the houses have it before they let out for the summer. This makes it easier to follow you on social media and reach out to you over the summer to take you out at your orientation. If we don't know about you through alumni or friends, and we haven't met you at spring parties...then early recs is another great way to get noticed.

I thought you only needed one Letter of Recommendation and one or more letters of support?

Most of the Sororities will require at least one recommendation letter, but the more letters you can get the better it will be. If you are from Mississippi and you and trying for one of the "Mississippi" sororities you will need letters from Ole Miss alumni and strong Mississippi connections. Those connections will be more important than your actual personal resume.
