Tri delt is top no question.... then it's a toss up between KD or DG. KD''s pledge class this year were all alumni picks and legacies because I know some of the sophomores are really unhappy that the girls they wanted didn't make it through... this has been real talk here on campus this semester. DG got amazing girls that KD and tri delt had to cut. I bet KD is regretting those cuts now.
I actually agree hardly anyone outside of Jackson or Memphis wants chi o anymore. Those girls are not cute at all! Phi mu and KKG are really rising above chi o now

KD is the top most wanted sorority at Ole Miss, all of the houses are great places to be and none is better than the other but to say that DDD is top when KD is much more widely sought after is crazy. How many girls were crying on bid day because they got cut from DDD? Probably not nearly as many as got cut from KD. They’re great at making girls want them by giving them glimmers of hope during the week- even when the girls never even knew that KD is what they wanted they’re heartbroken when they get cut. The sheer amount of girls that end up wanting them vs DDD or DG is what sets them apart by the end of rush. It’s genius imo honestly.

Ok, so KD did pledge a few girls who were strongly supported by alumni and the PC does have a healthy number of legacies. But that's one thing that helps define Kappa Delta. A sisterhood rich in tradition and history. I would venture to guess that then number of KD legacies is directly proportionate to any other strong, southern sorority.
Due to variable quota, cuts were sometimes deep and painful. And by default some good girls were lost. Honestly, how could that not happen? Rush was flooded with great girls and dictated quotas were low.
Despite the new system, KD ended with an incredible group of girls. Proud to be a Kappa Delta sister and proud to be friends with the girls KD didn't pledge. If we can't be sisters let's be friends.
Think about "some of the sophomores are really unhappy that the girls they wanted didn't make it through... this has been real talk here on campus this semester"... How incredibly tacky. I highly doubt that one sorority tells another how much their PC or sisters suck. Maybe some verbalization of frustration, but other than that nah, I doubt it. The competition between sororities would not lend itself to saying something that negative.

I'm not from Texas and not a KD, but I happen to agree and like this post too. Good for the KD that wrote it.
I love "If we can't be sisters - let's be friends" Healthy competition is one thing and EVERY member in a sorority should think that hers is the best because it should be for her.... so let's agree to disagree and quit the backbiting.

Panhellenic selects who goes where and who gets cut-- for a know fact-- they cut and move girls who selected a sorority and the sorority selected them - moved them to 2nd choice when should have gotten first- True Voter Fraud-- beware...all a big scam...I hear a story is in the works from a top magazine to expose them..would not pledge at Ole Miss if I were you...Its not called the Mississippi Mafia Alabama bigger and better...
