How much does a sorority at ole miss typically cost each year?

This just a generalization, and I don't know how much each sorority costs specifically, but I would estimate around $3,000 per semester. This includes chapter dues, parlor fees, tshirts, outfits for date parties, swaps, formals, etc. It doesn't seem like it, but things tend to add up after a while. Like I said though, this is just a estimate from my experience in my sorority.

My sorority fees run right at $2,000.00 a semester. That is for chapter dues, building fee, development fee and insurance fee. That does not include t-shirts, clothing for rush, formals, fundraisers, housing fees (if you live in the house), etc.

Yes. Each sorority's dues are different due to multiple reasons. For example, sorority A may have really high parlor fees while sorority B will have lower parlor fees. All of this depends on the sorority's budget and number of members.

I spend around $4000 each semester.

It's about $6,000 all year but I promise it's worth it. In the spring you ca get on the greek meal plan which will save you over $1,000 because you will be eating at the house. And most sororities have tutors to take advantage of which also saves you money.

Dues are outrageous it costs are way too much. It has really taken a toile on my family. We knew they would be high especially first year but it is much more than predicted. I hope I don't have to eventually drop out.
