The house originally belonged to Chi Phi fraternity. They had been leasing it to Skulls. This summer, the rumor was that DX was buying the house from Chi Phi. Either they bought the house or were raising the money for their own build. I highly doubt DX is selling a house they bought last year, so if it is being sold, someone is buying it from Chi Phi which means they are no longer interested in re-colonizing.

No they don't. If Phi Sig owned the house, they would be living there. My uncle was a Chi Phi and says they still own it or at least still owned it this summer.

Here's my opinion on the whole delta chi thing. It's great that they found a house to live in. But they won't be in a house in 2 years Because chi phi is going to lease it to phi sig because they are the better tenant. So they may be "moving up" because having a house is always going to give you a boost in recognition, ease of partying, and slightly cooler guys, but it won't last long unless a house gets kicked off and they can move in.
