is the middle tier relevant?
by: honestlyI don't know anyone in "top" houses so I don't really care about getting into one during rush. I just want to know if people even care about you in you're in the middle tier.

Are you really that worried about the type of people who would only "care" about you if you were in a certain house? I guess you need to evaluate if/why you would want to go through rush. What are you hoping to get from the sorority experience? Approval from strangers? Or sisterhood, fun, philanthropy, connections, nice housing. . .?
Every house is relevant.
