Absolutely! They still have pairs, formals, sisterhood events! It's exactly like a housed chapter except the girls don't all live together.

The reason there dues aren't as high is because they aren't paying to live in a house/for a meal plan/etc. besides this dues are the same and all of the chapters are getting the same amount of money from their members for events and such

unhoused chapters are actually a ton of fun. there are pairs every weekend still, barn dances, semiformals, sisterhood retreats, all the same kind of stuff as other sororities. people think the girls can't be as close because they don't live together, but that's not true. a lot of girls live together in ASA & TPA, not so sure about DPhiE since they're new, but I'm sure they do, too. plus, not being together 24/7, there's little chance for drama & the girls are always genuinely happy to see each other. and there are a lot of pretty girls in the unhoused chapters as well, people just don't notice because there are some that wouldn't be considered that attractive. the unhoused chapters recruit so much on personality so you know it will be a good time & you'll be with girls you actually really like. i would def keep an open mind about the unhoused chapters when going through recruitment. don't just consider housed or unhoused, find somewhere that you click with regardless of whether they're housed or not. you'll have a great rest of your college experience if you do that.

i ended up in a top house and throughout rush i ranked some unhoused chapters higher than housed chapters. rank where you feel most comfortable, not where has the nicest house, and you'll end up where you truly belong.
