do sorority girls hang out with eachother?

How do sororities work? Do girls hang out with friends in other houses like go to parties, bars, whatever with them? Or is it strictly just your house and the fraternity you partner with that you get to hang out with? I'm going to iu next fall and am super worried about this. I don't want someone telling me who I can and cannot hang out with. I want a wide, diverse pool of people to hang out with! Hopefully that's not a problem
