Don't Drop Out

Don't drop. Go where you have options, take a bid and try it out. If you still don't like it then drop before initiation. You aren't getting another chance for a bid somewhere eles and you don't know what you don't know. Don't let others who don't really know what they are talking about and who have zero stake in your lived experience run your life.
