It’s brutal. You shouldn’t do it.

It is super hard but if you want to be in a house the only way to do that is to rush. There was a record number of girls who rushed last year and it will probs be even higher this year and that just means it will be harder because our pc sizes can only be so big. If you belong in a top house you will most likely feel comfortable at “top” houses when you rush and will get a bid if you’re meant to. And if you don’t that’s fine too but don’t go into it with a mindset of only wanting top houses bc there’s 1400 plus girls rushing and about 5-8 “top houses” with pc sizes of maybe max 80 girls so you can do the math. Not everyone’s getting a bid to the house they want so be realistic and set your expectations low and you’ll end up where you’re supposed to. And coming from a girl who is in a “top house”, word gets around quickly about freshman girls and their attitudes. Go to every house during rush and treat them all the same whether you like the house or not bc if you have a bad or uninterested attitude at the lower tiered houses you will get dropped from all of recruitment. Those middle lower tier houses are still respected and they will tell the girls in these ”top houses” that you looked uninterested or had a bad attitude and you’ll get dropped from every. Single. House. It’s so easy to be dropped from recruitment so be on your best behavior be on time to your houses and you’ll be fine.
