Too many frats?

There’s literally like 5+ houseless frats at IU and a new one appears every semester… why do they keep adding more???

in most cases nationals are chasing a bag and know they can get it since iu greeklife is huge

Sororities don’t get kicked off so there isn’t a never ending cycle of getting kicked off coming back and switching houses like with frats

the frats coming back are just frats that have been kicked in the past but their suspension is over. Most have a long history here.

I think it’s because they were previously on campus that they can come back easily. I know as for sororities, we voted last year to not add anymore new ones because we already have a trillion.

Only four NPC sororities are not @IU. Tri Delta is the strongest financially, and in number of initiated alumnae, of those four. They may be chosen first to colonize should a mutual agreement between panhel and 3D occur.

The other 3 NPC groups not @IU have less financial means and a smaller number of alumnae to assist a new IU chapter. They are Phi Sigma Sigma, Alpha Sigma Tau, and Sigma Sigma Sigma.
