How does frat rushing work?

How does this work? You go to rush. Are there multiple rounds? Then they send you a bid. Can you get multiple bids or just one?

Rush is normally 4 days, there will be open house for half of the frats on Monday/Wednesday and the other half of the frats will be on Tuesday/Thursday, and Friday is bid day. Definitely possible to get more than one bid

^ what he said. Also houses will do an invite only prerush event for people with connections in the frat. All you have to do to get an invite is ask someone in the frat or text their rush chair and ask abt it

rush on the days specified. bid day is friday.
each house holds two rushes but there are prerushes as mentioned above.
bids are often sent informally but are finalized friday. you can get bids from multiple houses and it’s up to you to choose which house you want to be in.
“suicide rushing” happens sometimes when a house wants to send bids later than bid day, so you have to ignore other bids if you want to get into that house. i don’t recommend it.
