Nah this is true. Some sororities are taking new members still but the upper ones participating and some mid are already done/ only taking a few people/only taking people who already know sisters. It’s true what people say about informal being super hard to get a bid.

top houses don't have events, so 0. uppermid houses probably invite max 10 girls to their private events and will bid ~5. mid houses will invite maybe ~20 or less. bottoms invite everyone and bid everyone possible, but you don't want to be in a house that just has to take everyone so they can afford to be an actual sorority and don't care if people fit in and get along or not.

Or maybe some people want to be in inclusive chapters with diversity in personality? And any house will not bid you if you have bad vibes or are really not a fit. Most lower houses just want genuine girls who wanna make friends and don’t care about tiers/drama, which is why they have no reason to exclude most interested pnms from their membership and only don’t bid a few

Maybe some people are looking for a fun sisterhood with genuine friendships and mutual respect? Your sorority doesn't define you, people are going to see the real you no matter what letters you wear.
