Sorority informal
by: InformalAs an upperclassman, literally all sororities are mostly the same. You will find people you like and dislike in all of them. Cultures and expectations will be slightly different in each, but not that much. Some sister will have a connection that will get you into the frat you want to party at, even if your chapter doesn’t pair with them. So many people are panicking about informal or wanting to try to rush again- literally just join a decent sized chapter and you’ll be fine, if you’re genuinely looking for friends and fun. If you’re looking for status and clout, good luck but you’ll probably end up disappointed. All of my friends ended up happy to be a part of their own chapters, even if they weren’t sure at first. Whether you do informal now or later, have good intentions, be open, and don’t listen to ranks/silly opinions on this site.
