Things to know before rushing today

1. first off every year legit every kid rushing goes to sae bc the house is cool and sits in a 2 hour line to talk to maybe 2 brothers, you are just going to waste a whole day of rush doing that and ur not gonna get a bid
2. Top houses most likely already have most of their pc so keep that in mind when ur rushing it’s not gonna be easy if u don’t know a single kid in the house
3. Try and go to 2-3 houses a day meet as many brothers as u can, try to get brothers to vibe w u and be able to crack jokes and laugh w them, if you cant get to that point with anyone in a house it’s prob not for you
4. Ask good questions and don’t ask dumb questions about the house or things in the past
5. Also for freshman pike here is not what it is everywhere else they are also losing their house next year so just something to keep in mind

Also to add a lot of houses take lots of kids from certain areas. Example… phi sig Cincy/Cali, Sig Ep Indy, Pi kapps Chicago, Zbt Aepi Sammy East coast. This is important to know during rush. Not saying any of these houses mentions don’t take kids from other places but it significantly helps your chances at rush if you are from an area a house recruits from.

most have a couple guys the chicago area. you should ask where people in the house are from during rush.

Literally almost all. From what I know Pi Kapps, phi delt, theta chi, pike, phi psi, akl, asig are like half chicago.

Pike is leasing their house from a fraternity that just got reinstated. It’s looking like they will be an off-campus fraternity soon, so just be aware of that.
