Freshmen girls or guys stick out at parties because they don’t know anyone

Easy: for you to get into a party, you have to know someone in the frat. Either the door guy, a pledge, an older guy, whoever. We know you’re not in the sorority invited to the party cause you won’t be wearing their wristbands or checking in with them at the door. Guys will usually text in the frat gc or go around asking “who invited this girl”. Once they find who added you to the list or let you into the party, they’ll ask the guy for your name. You’ll then get blacklisted from their frat, and guys pass those names to sororities. Done!

this doesn’t happen unless the girl is causing trouble or acting a fool.

Nope. It can be caused by a variety of things, like being rude to pledges/brothers, hitting on/getting with someone’s boyfriend/situationship, being rude to a sorority girl at the party, stealing something, ESPECIALLY lying about being in a sorority to get into a party. There’s a lot of situations that can lead to blacklisting, I’ve seen girls who rush in the spring and end up getting dropped by multiple sororities at once only to find out they were blacklisted from the start over something that happened at a party. So in conclusion, just stay away from frats if you’re a freshman
