PHA at IU is communist

Each and every year PHA wants to be more and more controlling. They ignore each chapter’s individuality and want us all to be equal. We need to do recruitment exactly the same, both formal and informal, we couldn’t even do house tours last year, no more legacy events, we need to take part in like 200 PHA events… why does IU have 22 different sororities if PHA wants to turn us all into the same one?
Where’s the free will? Where’s the individuality? Where’s the right to conduct our private matters in our own way? Or what to do in our own houses?
They just want more power and to be more controlling. Communists.

I kinda feel this. I chose my chapter because they’re different than the other ones. I feel like Panhellenic (depending on the executive board) lets it get to their heads a little bit just because whatever they say goes. PHA should act as a uniting organization that respects and celebrates each chapters’ individual values and qualities, and not just versions of the same thing cause we’re def not

Pairing with 5-6 frats 8 times a semester pretty much fills the whole semester. So idk what the problem is…

Hmm maybe true. But keep complaining and recruiting girls who don’t want to do anything but post on Insta-like join PHA. That way you can keep your status and make sure none of those “lower” sororities rise up or change the way you THINK things should be.

I’ll go outside the box if I want to. That doesn’t mean I don’t have friends in other frats that I don’t pair with. But that should not be PHA’s choice whatsoever
