Tips/Tricks for getting a bid
by: LoganI know this is an anonymous platform but I’m hoping for some advice. I’ve rushed a total of 13 fraternities at IU (beta sig, tep, akl, sigma chi, sigma nu, beta chi, theta chi, etc) and have not gotten a bid from any over the course of summer, fall, and thus far spring. I’ve even been direct messaging brothers in every house on instagram and making donations to their chapter fundraisers. Do you all have any tips for getting a bid? I can’t possibly see what I’m doing wrong

Do you have any connections in any frat house? If so reach out to them and see what's up. If no connections then maybe you need to relax more during rush events, don't be so over eager. Search out the rush chairman and the president and talk to them, let them get to know you...

You should reach out to those connections and ask them to be straight up with you on what the issue is. Good luck

Yeah 2 of the 3 rush chairs are family friends and the president of the frat I want to as on student council with me in high school, so I have the good connections. But for some reason I still didnt get a bid
