The honest to god truth about top houses:

If you are in one of the top 8 sororities (Aphi, Pi Phi, Kappa, Chi O, Zeta, DZ, GPhi, AXO) ranks do not matter. They are the best houses on campus and go to all of the best parties together. Ranks about these houses are only about looks because their pairs are the same and always with the same mix of about 8 frats(Fiji, Sig Chi, Pi Kapps, ZBT, Beta, Sammy, AEPi, Phi Sig). Obviously each house has their preference and goes to some houses more than others but their parties are always a mix of houses from these lists and every single house goes to every single frat. There is an obvious divide in looks between the top srats but there is no divide in popularity. Popularity ranks are solely for the middle tier and lower. They have somewhere higher to go and something to prove socially when the top houses do not. Their pairs are all over the place and constantly changing.

This is just to remind everyone that what you are seeing between the top houses is not a popularity contest, it's only a hotness contest. Everyone is equally as popular and does the same thing but insecurities can get the best of some people. This is also to point out that middle tier houses on here do actually feel like they are fighting for popularity and to go to good parties and that is so toxic. Do not let this website determine where you find home. Go where you feel love and like you will have the best time.

Phi Delt isn't on this list because they've been in trouble and they mainly only pull good pairs because DZ loves them and people want to party with DZ. SAE has been doing well only because Zeta loves them for some reason and they got very lucky for homecoming.
