Are there weird kids in every pledge class

I’m pledging a “top” house right now and I’m just confused on how some of the kids got bids. Like half of our pc is cool and the other have are kids I would never have talked to in high school but now they’re my pledge brothers?

I pledged zbt and this happened to me pc of 55 kids abt 10 of em were whack as hell. Found out they were either legacies or bodies for $.

Yes. There are always gonna be people in your chapter that are different from you. Find the group you click with and make memories.

Nah this kid got a good point, you would expect a top house PC to be full of kids who you be friends with but all these kids mostly from indy and chicago who have connections make the PCs much worse

That’s all I’m saying. I’m in a “top” house and half the kids are weird. I’m just saying it goes to show rankings are bs. Go to the house where u feel u fit the best. Just bc a kid is in pi kapps or sig chi doesn’t mean he’s necessarily cooler than Some kids in Sig ep or theta chi. I expected my whole pc to at least be mostly athletic kids and know how to talk to girls and it’s just not like that.

First of all, phi Sig isn’t (and never will be) a top house. Second of all, you’re a pledge. You’ve known these guys for a few weeks. You probably hung out with d bags in hs. College is about growing up as a person and establishing meaningful friendships - it’s not about your lacrosse buddy who helps you stuff nerds into lockers and steal your moms fireball on Friday nights. Most frats (excluding Beta) don’t want a PC of 30 identical dudes anyway. Get to know the guys and hold back on judgement. They were picked to be in your house for a reason, you’re probably a lot more like them than you realize.
