frat bids

I know at a lot of the top frats ( pi kapps, sig chi, beta, etc) its a lot about who you know to get in. Is the same thing true for lower tier frats i.e sig ep, SNU, sig pi? or is it easier getting a bid here with out knowing anyone?

It's a lot easier but it'll always help to know someone. You'll just really have to put yourself out there during rush
