IFC hasn’t made up their mind on how recruitment will go. That and virtual recruitment is a real possibility for sororities because classes are online from November to February and they do recruitment in January

Quarantine before rush? Are you dumb? Our winter break is 3 weeks. Spend to weeks quarantined and the do recruitment. That means we just wouldn’t leave idiot

They won’t Becuase the sorority’s take GPA into account and they won’t have uninitiated girls and guys running around at the same time

Sororities can’t push recruitment back because of school. IU won’t let that happen. If girls are missing classes and it’s impacting grades that’s a problem which is why it’s before the 2nd semester starts

school is online anyways, and frat rush has always been in the middle of classes as well as other kinds of greek organizations like cultural and business frats

The boys can pick and choose what houses to go to. The girls can’t. If you push it back, girls who have work, or homework that’s all going to be a problem. Becuase the first like 4 days are 12 hour days

Whatever the details are, personally I think it would be very possible to do it with lots of planning and chapters being on board with making necessary changes. They could do it like frats and have the 2 first rounds over zoom and then in person for sisterhood and pref, have less houses during each day and extend it, etc. They just have to be willing to do it. But it is 100% possible.
