That was the dumbest article ever. These ladies raised money for an issue. Some IU students aren’t too smart.

In my opinion the article was so off. Almost every sorority philanthropy event involves food. They’re raising money for a cause. Geeds at IDS don’t understand how Greek philanthropies work

The key item that many of you missed was that while yes all philanthropies do good work and this one was marketed poorly. Then when confronted about it by the reporter, they got scared and changed the online marketing, then denied it. The inability to say, "hey we meant well, we screwed up" is what he was trying to bring to light. The whole situation would have been a non-issue had the chapter handled correctly.
