why does aphi do informal

How is Aphi a top house, but they always do informal? Do they not get enough girls during formal?

Informal is a requirement by some chapters nationals

Somehow alpha phi takes informal and still has the same average gpa as pi phi and kappa...

Then you obviously haven't seen the grade report. For the last 4 years, they have been last or next to last in grades, well below quite a few fraternities.

I have not seen the fall 2019 report yet, but the spring 2019 report had them next to last, the only chapter lower that semester was DPhiE.

And that is consistent. If you look through all the grade data available, they are always in the last few.
