Please tell me they did well. All the chapters deserve so much! I cant tell u how much it would hurt my heart to see that chapter and all the chapters not do well. With as many girls who go through recruitment it is a shame to see any chapter struggle. ALL THE CHAPTERS ARE TOP TIER.

One thing that will help...stop with the stupid ranks. A girl who is already hurt because she was cut from multiple chapters comes here and reads horrible things about chapters and feels even worse.

they got 5 new members total because of the stupid tier system. If panhel posted and hyped up chapters like DPhiE and asa as much as they did the top tiers then the bottom chapters would have a fighting chance. A chapter can survive on 4-5 girls per pc

While I appreciate all the supportive words you are giving it needs action. I’m not going to lie it feels like we’re fighting to stay here. I don’t want my chapter to disappear and I don’t want any one else’s chapter to disappear. But saying something and actually doing something about our Greek community are 2 very different things.

I agree. Other schools have better panhel that cares. They have random pairs, they promote their houses, etc. I realize that Greek life is shrinking here but no frat/sorority is going to leave if things are shook up to be like other schools

What if we all went to Panhel? Like someone from each chapter? We have delegates we can send them and try to change things

To every sorority member reading this post, show it to your Panhel delegate/rep. Ask her to propose some changes like fun sorority bonding events. Ask Panhel to take real action.

Let's make it happen. The Panhel reps for each chapter need to get together and start figuring out a strategy. We are so much stronger together than not. It might even be helpful for chapter advisors to step in and help. I know there are some chapters on this campus that are thriving that once upon a time weren't. We need to hear how those chapters turned it around and how we can help the newer, smaller chapters continue to grow. I also think IU Panhel needs to help chapters like ASA with their nationals if they aren't getting support and help from them. Panhel should be advocating for ASA and doing all they can to make sure that chapter stays. Let's start building bridges and doing chapter socials between sororities - start small! A Bachelor watching party, teaming up to do a philanthropic event (maybe a pet food/supply drive for the local shelter) or even just dinner - Solidarity is what we need for all to succeed!
