sophomores rushing

is it true that it's harder to get into a house as a sophomore? i know all the top houses rarely ever take in sophomores and if they do it's like 2-3 in the whole class of freshman so u have to be super on top of everything to even be considered as a sophomore.

lower tier houses will accept more sophomores but getting into the better houses as a sophomore is a big deal bc ur competing for like 4 spots vs 50+
