what does it mean to "fit in" a house
by: scaredso i've heard so many girls who rushed before saying you think you had amazing conversations with girls in a house and you really connected with them but then they still end up dropping you. so then what does it mean to "fit in" and actually get be able to get a bid?

As you go through the process, you'll spend more time talking to girls bc the parties get smaller and more serious. The conversations usually get deeper. You learn more about the chapter, their philanthropy and get a better feel for the house. You'll start to feel more connected and you'll start to see where you'd be comfortable, what girls you could see yourself spending time with every day and where you'd have fun, build friendships. You just click. You may click with more than one house and that's good! The goal is to end up where you can be happy. The ultimate goal is to find a house where you can really be yourself - good, bad, weird, goofy - and not worry that you'll be judged for it. It's about finding your home. You'll know when you find your fit. Good luck!

Try to ignore the obviously trolling unhelpful comments on here lmao.
As the rounds go on you’ll know where you fit. It’s impssible to know when you’ve only had a couple of 5 minute convos w a handful of sisters!
Wait until sisterhood round bc those are the houses looking at you seriously, if there are any houses you feel anxious or uncomfortable when you go back it’s prob not the house for you bc this is where you are going to LIVE do not choose a house where you may be self conscious or insecure. I had a friend take a house like this all the way to pref just for the clout of the house and totally regretted even having to go there for pref.
Look for how well the conversation is flowing and how you feel before going into the house. Were there lots of awkward silences or none at all? Right before walking in Were you scared and anxious or nervous but excited?
Remember like I said above wait until sisterhood round to know who is deeply considering your membership and always keep in mind the sisters know their house best so if they think you’ll fit in you probably will! (And try not to take cuts personally for the same reason, they usually think you’re a much better fit at other houses and that’s the reason you get cut)
