After you join a house it doesn’t matter. Letters don’t matter. I had the best conversation with a girl in ASA today and I hope that chapter and every other sorority has a great recruitment. Good luck ladies

They definitely matter lmao. Is it stupid that they matter? Yes. But you’re lying to yourself if you don’t think that people judge each other off of what house you’re in before talking to you.. it’s human nature (since there are “tiers”)

they definitely matter. You will be judged based on the letters you wear no matter what you look like. I’ve had guys trying to talk to me in my classes and then when I wear letters they act like I’m a completely different person.

It only matters if you LET it matter to you. If you dgaf and just focus on enjoying your new house, then eventually you'll stop caring what other people think. If you are a kind cool person who has self esteem then kind/cool people with self esteem will f with you no matter what house you are in.

Believe me I understand, I'm in a house that gets made fun of and degraded all the time. Yeah it takes a lot to not let it get to me, but what helps is realizing that truly happy people who have their own self worth will not make fun of you for what house you're in, they will see you as a person worthy of respect because you are more than your Greek letters. People who degrade me for the house I'm in are clearly sad inside if they feel the need to do that.
