They must be tired of being dead last (or almost dead last) grade wise among chapters. By setting a higher academic standard, they should improve their results. This is a change in strategy for APhi but I applaud the effort. Who wants to be known as one of the dumbest groups on campus?

The 2019 pledge class that they rushed had a lower gpa. This year the girls they want have a higher gpa. So they can raise it without fear of missing out on their picks.

This is likely something Nationals put in place for them. Forces them to look at girls who don't typically fit the APhi stereotype. Ever since that whole thing came out about their rush strategies they've been in damage control mode. Taking girls that are smarter and not just pretty lets them say they don't just recruit on looks. Ought to be an interesting recruitment....

every girl in aphi that tells you they are so sisterly is lying through their damn teeth. i have seen two groups of aphi friends in the same pledge class in public that wouldnt even look at each other? this was about a month ago. be careful pnms

This is not truly accurate anything that is said Panhellenic put 3.3 which is the rounded score of alpha phi average gpa but the requirement is 2.9 please stop spreading rumors
