A lot of houses have the same philanthropies of related ones. But pairs are hard to do because chapters like to stay in their tiers

In theory, it’s such an awesome idea but it will never happen. Greek life has become too superficial and only focuses on tiers, partying, and physical attractiveness. Chapters would never pair for an event between tiers ever - even for a charity, which is sad because philanthropy is one of the most important parts of Greek life since most of the chapters’ founding. If it were to happen, however, it would be an inspiring and positive look for iu Greek life and might actually encourage more students to join. Not only that but the event could raise more money for both chapters’ philanthropies than if they had each done an individual philanthropy. But unfortunately because of how superficial and selfish chapters are in relation to the tier system, an event like this would never ever happen.
