Fijis DO take a spring class...but for next fall.
For years, Fiji has done spring weekend rush with IU bound HS seniors. They invite them down for a weekend and by Little 500 weekend, they’ve pretty much put their class together. They then may pick up and add in a few more freshmen during fall rush. ALL the freshmen move in the house.

While people may be critical, it has worked for them in the past. And YES, it does keep them tied to certain regions and high schools but...
