if we are being honest it’s still a great group of girls overall, they’re very likeable and have fun personalities. BUT the problem with chi o is that they got in huge trouble last year and they are on heavy restriction from their nationals. they have few girls left that are the traditional “chi o” because their nationals chose their last informal pc.
Realistically the only thing wrong with them is that they can’t have pairs. You could still get on guest lists at parties, have philanthropy and other events, etc there’s just rules for everything

Honestly if people are saying they picture you in chi o, they probably are thinking of the juniors who are actually chi o. The newest PC has some girls that represent what chi o used to be, and the others do not. Regardless, I’ve loved every girl I’ve met in the new PC they just don’t have the same personality as the juniors I know. Definitely check it out, but just stay open minded! Gphi is pretty similar personality wise to old chi o, so keep them in mind

the only deal is that they got in trouble like many chapters are recently, they were on cease and desist and now they’re out of it and just on probation, meaning they have to follow certain rules about social events. they had their philanthropy last semester and do everything else other chapters do, they just don’t have official pairs with frats. idk who said their pc was chosen by nationals but i think that’s a lie because i know many girls from the new pc already had friends in the house and probably got bids because of that, so just like informal rush usually is. i would say just go through rush and see how you feel, if you like the girls then consider it cause choosing another house just because of parties is kinda wrong imo
