2 year live in requirement!!

This is some what accurate. Most houses will but some houses understand that you signed a lease it depends on how many girls want to continue to live in after the 2 year requirement

half of my recruitment group and friend group last year had already signed leases but they were able to avoid the live in requirement. As long as you pay live out dues and your chapter is in financial good standing then you should be fine

It’s very situational, I do NOT suggest signing a lease before going through recruitment. I promise you will have plenty of time to sign a lease if you wait until after, and just because in the past girls were able to live out does NOT mean you will be able to! It is a 2 year requirement, there are girls living out due to situational purposes whether the situation be within themselves or with the capacity of the house or whatever else is the reason. All I’m saying is, don’t count on signing a lease to get you out of living in because it doesn’t work like that.

Some houses only have a one year live in requirement and others two, not that you would be talking about it during rush but if girls somehow know then they’re less likely to want you in the house because it shows you’re not going to be involved and stuff

Why would you join a sorority and live out? Defeats the whole purpose.
