truth be told. at least one house has a already determined if they will even invite you to the second round based on your social media alone. If you are not instagram-fabulous, you can forget it.

honestly, being in a low tier house. i didn’t care about tiers until i realized how much it matters here. i feel like i need to live up to everyone’s standards and be in a “top house” now

tiers don't matter unless you make them matter! if you don't care what "tier" the sorority you get is, then you realize you're surrounded by a group of amazing girls and that's all that matters!

Because I heard that if you’re not above a certain house you’re irrelevant and I’m nervous my friends will all get upper mid houses and I’ll get a lower one

Your tier won’t matter. Your friends won’t stop talking to you bc you’re in a lower tier house and you can go as a guest to their pairs and events. It’s honestly more fun being in a different tier than your friends bc you get the best of both worlds. I used to take this website so seriously before I rushed and it made recruitment really hard for me but I love where I ended up and now I only come on here to help others like myself that think the mean awful stuff on here is true

you will make friends within your chapter, so don’t worry!! and no you’re not irrelevant, people just have different values and priorities. Some would say it’s irrelevant cause your chapter doesn’t party a lot, but if it’s not a priority for you then it doesn’t matter what they think!!

I don’t wanna be in a house no one’s heard of! There are 22 houses and I’ve heard of like 6 idk I don’t wanna be in some random one

The ones you hear about are the ones that have bad reps or the boys always talk about. Every house has good and bad. Go in open minded, what you think you want may not be what you actually want. You might surprise yourself so keep an open mind

I've been told you wanna have connections with girls in sororities otherwise it's hard. I'm from out of state and haven't made any. Will it be really hard?

Connections don’t really matter that much. You’ll end up where you’re meant to be as long as you be yourself. You’ll make connections as you meet girls through recruitment
