The thing is people some people love to brag and consider themselves better than others. Even if there is no actually reason one house is better than another people will come on this website and make their ideas known. Its a competitive world and some people are raised to think of themselves as the best and justify it in any way. Making all houses pair with one another will only force these people to prove they are better than others in different ways.

I think there are less people that would try to prove themselves better than people that would just try to have fun and make the most of it. Honestly it could help weed out the tier obsessed. Over time it could work.

The problem is your saying it could work and have no factual evidence to back it up. If you provide us with a senecio where it has worked at a school with a Greek life comparable to ours you will have a easier time selling the idea to the rest of the Greek community.

Awful idea. Do you seriously think this would work? Hypothetical: Aphi with pike % tpa with ZBT. Do you REALLY think that either aphi or ZBT will show out? Absolutely not. Houses pair with the houses they pair with because it’s fun to them and they have friends in those houses. Artificially attempting to create this dynamic would only result in people’s egos being more destroyed when they realize that certain houses seriously don’t want to party with them. There is a 0% chance that actually works, just be real with yourself. Only people in bottom tiers would support this and, shocker, it’s because the higher tiers are naturally (not artificially) more sought after.

This is an awful idea. No one in top houses would show up except for the ones who forced their members to go so that they didn’t look bad. Its ridiculous to make a frat have pairs with all 22 sororities. Honestly would be a smart move for iu to enact that if they don’t wanna be known as a Greek life school-no one would sign up for recruitment.

Why would anyone want this. High houses just would show to forced pairs. it would be a waste of everyone’s already limited party time

This is... not true. I’m in a lower mid chapter and we have had 1-2 girls on panhel exec every year for multiple years. Tired of the divisiveness.

For a girl to hook up with someone in any frat and have to walk out to a living room of guys it’s the walk of shame. It’s humiliating and degrading because even in college some boys still have the maturity level of a 13 year old
