Yeah a lot of girls in houses like pi phi, gphi, axo, and dz are hot, but it’s because there is a correlation between personality type and looks. A lot of really high energy, funny, and confident girls happen to be pretty too, and since most of the upper house’s vibes are these things with this you will also see a lot of pretty faces. Also no one talks about money during rush but people rush girls in who are similar to them, classy houses rush in classy girls. Connections totally are a thing, for top through bottom tiers. Similar girls rush each other in

Top houses won’t out right ask if you have money obviously but they do ask about travel and other things associated with money. It’s obviously not impossible to get into top houses without money if you’re still pretty/ fun/ dress but clearly having money helps a lot for get into any top or top mid house

@yed and: Maybe for top (aphi and pi phi) they do this but not for upper mid. I am in an upper mid house and my top 4 houses before pref were upper mid houses too. Never once was I ever asked during rush anything money related (vacations, etc) by any of my houses, I just talked normally to the girls. Im guessing the people spreading these rumors are currently in a house like phi mu, and got dropped from all the upper houses first or second round. Not saying that to be judgmental, but to make the point that you cant talk about our rush strategies if you spent 15 minutes total at our houses. Maybe you like to think “oh the reason I got cut is because I don’t go on fancy vacations!” But really it’s because you just wouldn’t fit in! Again, not judging you, I wouldn’t fit in to your house either, everyone has people they mesh with. Just don’t spread rumors without facts to back it up
