What’s the point of being in a ny/nj fraternity in Indiana??? Why not just go to college in ny. There is no “fiji” Indiana kid frat at an east coast school

NY kids have way different personalities than people from Indiana from what I noticed... they are very loud energetic and kind of rude when compared to us but to them its jus another day in New York, they just fit better together.... Same thing goes for the California kids in Phi Sig

People rush houses they have connections to. If a bunch of east coast kids end up in the same fraternity, there friends in the grades below them will join them. Guys are more comfortable rushing and joining houses where they might already know someone. It’s not that big of a deal ...
