frats are important for safety

let’s be real. Bloomington house parties have always been sketchy, but last night there was a huge shooting at a house party and honestly it’s just not safe anymore.
Iu needs to stop kicking off frats “for our safety” because house parties is what it will lead to!!! Frat houses are a pretty safe environment and don’t have the same risks and house parties where anyone and everyone can show up. IU needs to take a second and think, where will students be if there’s no more frats? They won’t stop partying, they’ll go to unsafe house parties. The witch hunt needs to end.

To an extent yes but when there are no pledge drivers and sobers are not doing there job it’s just as dangerous. So it’s safer in the sense that there’s no one with guns but still not safe
