thoughts on tpa??

i’m rushing as a freshman this year and i’m a legacy to tpa. would they be a good house to be in?? what does the future look like for them?

just speaking honestly most girls who go through rush don’t like them. they’re bottom tier and don’t have the cutest girls. most bottom tier houses get a lot of weirdos that no other houses want which is the same for tpa. i only know a couple but they’re nice girls

Im going to be real here, I dropped knowing how expensive it was to be a part of TPA. Also the fact that the majority of the girls are odd and I only hung out with a couple of them. I'd rather be a geed than be in TPA.

its not the worst of the bottom tier houses but the price definitely makes you think twice about it. I didnt think it was good enough for the money but if ur not worried about that then its not bad

They got ripped off by delts on their rent which goes up exponentially each year and only pair with Skulls and Pike

When I think tpa I think expensive but usually people's favorite of the bottom 3, they have less trouble with recruitment than asa or dphie. They're also one of if not THE smallest chapter nationally if that's something you care about

TPA is one of the most hated on chapters out of all the sororities because they have the most expensive house, their older girls aren’t that cute and they’re weirdos, and they are a lot of girls’ last choice in recruitment when their houses drop them and they don’t want ASA or DPhiE. Realistically the new PC and a good portion of their last PC are decently attractive because they have been trying to do better. The girls I know that are in TPA are all super close and are genuinely nice girls. They all seem to love it and they know their place so they are not stuck up like other houses. They have parties every weekend just like any other chapter on campus. I would say see what other houses you can get in first because TPA will probably take you anyways. If you can’t handle judgment well then I would not join.

being from one of the bottom two I feel like they get a lot of unnecessary hate (besides price). Like asa gets hate for being bottom and unhoused and dphie gets hate for .. well a lot of stuff but tpa girls really aren’t that bad I think if they were cheaper they would definitely have better recruitments

Based on what I’ve heard they have pairs with more houses frats this year and are being more selective with their next pc so there’s a good chance they’ll rise but not by much

If you disregard the senior class who won't be living in or actually going to any parties since they are all 21, TPA is just about the same as Phi Mu and AGD. They are above SDT, ASA and DPhiE. They took a better pledge class last year than all 5 of those chapters.

If you look at them with the seniors (the last of the really odd ones) and the price of the house, still stronger than SDT, ASA and DPhiE.

You are delusional if you think SDT is better than any chapters other than ASA at DPhiE. They are just plain odd. The majority of the girls that went to AEPhi and SDT a pref, preffed AEPhi and many of the girls who went SDT and someplace decent like ADPi, Phi Mu, AGD, AOII, SK and TPA preffed those chapters over SDT. SDT went deep on the list to make quota.

Lots of girls in a my dorm went Greek and I can tell you TPA took a better quality pledge class than most people think or want to give them credit for.

I think you mean without seniors and the price tag because both drop tpa so far below the middle tier chapters. I would say their newest pc is their best so far and can compare to middle tier but theyre pretty evenly matched with SDT rn because SDT didn’t really go anywhere with their new pc
