incoming freshmen

So I’m an incoming freshman from Carmel and I heard from some of my friends in frats at IU that outside the top tier (Fiji, pikapps, and Acacia) there’s a bunch of weirdos. I was just wondering if this is true. Should I only rush these houses?

There's cool & weird guys in every chapter, including those that you mentioned. Also acacia isn't "top tier".

Join the house where you fit the best, this is a 4 year commitment so make the right choice.

First of all, if you’re from Carmel, you should already have an “in” for rush because of the guys you know already in houses. If you’re interested in FIJI, see if you can get one of your FIJI friends to invite you to a rush weekend. They MAY still one or two left.

Other than that, “weird” is a relative term. If they’re “weirdos” because they don’t have a Lacoste polo in every color—get over yourself and realize that college SHOULD expose you to new people, ideas and values. EMBRACE IT!

I went to Carmel too and that’s the furthest thing from the truth, there’s probably 10 houses worth checking out. If you have friends from Carmel in other houses just stop by and work connections
