rushing sorority as sophomore
by: SophI decided not to rush as a freshman because of personal reasons but am thinking of trying next spring. What’s it like rushing as a sophomore and is it worth it if I’m thinking of studying abroad my second semester junior year?

There’s no nice way to put it, but it’ll be SO hard to get a bid. Expect to get back half of the lists a typical freshman gets during rush - and most of the houses interested will be considered “middle tier”. If you’re a social tier climber, it probably won’t work out for you. Best of luck, I hope it works out.

I would follow them on social media. You will start to hear when they have events through their posts.

Yea honestly this is not true. A ton of my friends rushed as sophomores and ended up in great houses and were fine. Some went middle, some went top. As long as you’re cool and act yourself you’ll be okay.
