For the people in the cheap seats: I will imagine they will be giving at least 60 bids. They will need to take a huge pledge class or formal recruitment will be too difficult having girls with 4 or 5 PMNS first round. They are down to around 60-70 members total right now. That is IF all of the current women come back after summer, which I have a feeling a few will drop.
They will be giving bids based on what a national team of women is choosing, I wouldn't be surprised if it's like a colonization type recruitment with interviews. The chapter will have very little say in who they recruit. There will be NO fraternity parties and no way to do it under the radar because national people will be living in the house. Top chapters are not going to take a chance on them and try something underground. Their usual pair Kappa Sig is also gone. This means NO bid day party for the PC, no events with alcohol at all, this means date parties and dances (if the are allowed to have them) will be dry.
If you want to join that great, but I have a feeling you're social climber or you would have joined one of the 6 or so chapters who did informal in the spring. This is not going to the same XO, it never will be with national in control. I actually feel bad for the girls still in the chapter and wish them luck. It's going to be a tough road.

Chi o will be doing informal rush in the fall. They will probably take 30-40 girls and not a full pledge class. They will also prob have someone from nationals live in with them like ZTA does. But they are off C&D now... if you know someone in the sorority then you should contact them

Being off of probation with the university is an entirely different thing than being in the clear with their nationals. They will be under a microscope for quite some time. The chapter will survive but it will be very different. And, those that pledge now will bear the brunt of it because by the time nationals loosen their grip, this pc will be seniors or have graduated.

Have you not read the prior messages? There will be a Headquarters Staff person there for TWO YEARS. They not only have to report to Chi O nationals but also to IU student life who is making them responsible for workshops and a variety of speakers.
Being off C&D is the least of their worries. They’re under very tight scrutiny and have surrendered much of their independence to BE off C&D. Don’t diminish the seriousness of their situation in the immediate future...
