by: New Greek RowIf there was a New Greek Row constructed near the IU campus would Greek Houses be interested in moving out? Brand new homes with an "Old Row" style facade. Dedicated to individual houses. We would give you the option to buy the house so your nationals could control the issues as they come up with no University Involvement. This would be a 6 year project so no-one currently housed would be the beneficiary. But it is possible to give greek life a hope to survive long term.

You're either selfish or a moron if you think disaffiliating with IU would have zero impact you and your chapter

You don't have to move to disaffiliate....IU doesn't own your house or the land under it.
If you want to disaffiliate from IU, do it! I think all the chapters should.

We just stumbled on this site during our research for the development and we are not with any organization associated with Indiana University. At this time we are interested in land development. It has been brought to our attention over the past several months that there is a significant interest from Indiana University to build new student housing(Dorms) which we will likely be bidding. The housing is going to happen because of the new medical facility and the increase of just over 10K students that will be in Bloomington upon its completion. Due to the University being land locked by neighborhoods and businesses they are looking at options some of which would eliminate a portion of what is greek row at this time. This site is not necessarily the forum we will carry a discussion but will be reaching out to Nationals and Exec Boards of individual houses with clean disciplinary records if we begin the project.
